Then why did the Bears bring in multiple guys throughout the year for try outs and cut this guy the first chance they got? Please.... it sure as hell wasn't because they thought he was great. The Bears didn't even have a back-up plan and still thought that was a better option. Lipstick on a pig is still a pig.

Adam Podlesh 3rd in NFL with just 2 touchbacks last season. Ranked 13th with 27 kicks inside 20. Can't just look at avg w punters

Mesko/McBriar had 16 punts downed inside 20 last season. Podlesh had 27 with only two touchbacks.
