3rd down in RZ Garret Sack

How many people have watched the 3rd down play in red zone where Garrett sacked Kenny? Especially helps if you watch it on all 22.....My God Pickens come across the middle from right to left with no one within 10 yards. Kenny just doesn't see the field. Should have been an easy TD.

No, do you have a link so we can watch it?

But the issue is more he never either sees or tries to make any of these plays and you would think he would pull the trigger on something across the middle.

Letting any one of these go is what it is. But what are the odds of avoid all these potential plays.

He's clearly watching the rush rather than the receivers. We have enough evidence at this point that he is not seeing the entire field.

Those saying he has no one open in the RZ are echoing a false narrative. Here's a few more leaving you scratching your head:

Mike Tyson says" Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth". May be Kenny can't handle the pain of getting sacked.
If his ribs are sore the thought of the pain has become an obsession. He has to be watching the rush.

A QB can't take his eyes away from downfield. All the good ones never do. Watch Justin Herbert. Ben stayed focused down field. I suppose it helps to be 6'5" and 240+. I don't know perhaps Kenny is not cut out for the pain he has to endure as an NFL QB who doesn't run a 4.4 second 40.

This thought crossed my mind. Knew Roethlisberger had what it took after face planting into a car windshield and came back to play no worse for wear.
And if Pickett's ribs were hurting that bad, then sit the guy and let the backup play. Playing like hot garbage while hurt is certainly not helping his case as a starting QB.

Looked to me like his first read was left and he was waiting for that to open up…

he stayed there too long and the rush got there.

Watch the timer. Pickett had 3 seconds before the pressure. He's a slow processor.

This is why I said Sullivan may also be part of the problem. I think a QB coach should be able to correct that type of behavior.

I'm sorry but I don't buy that Kenny just got sorry in his second year because he is a bum. I think we coached him out of his comfort zone for some odd reason. Maybe it's the INT's but I think Canada's scheme was avoid the MOF if possible.

Yeah, we should've kept Canada and got rid of Kenny.

I am not quite sure how he missed that one, I am sure he has replayed it over in his head many times. let's hope he learns from it.

I mentioned him missing Heyward open in the EZ in the game thread and was flamed for it.

Throwing the ball across the middle would be intentional grounding. We have no receivers there.
