    Offensive Trending Over Several OCs

Pretty clear to me what's happening. The deep ball is disappearing from the Steelers offense.

    Ben losing arm strength..
    Ben not as mobile…
    Ben hurt…
Oline sucks and can’t protect for long…
    No deep threat wr..

Philosophy change to accommodate the above.
    Rookie qb last year..

    This might be the reason.

How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

How many laps we doing on this one? Tomlin blamed TO's for the 2018 collapse, over-corrected to a dumbed down, safe offense. Thinks he can win a title winning 16-13 every week.

This is not a serious football franchise anymore.

Steelers promised more YAC, stick with same route concepts. This team has a ceiling of 9 wins with this offensive philosophy.

I think part of this is just an overall trend in the NFL as a whole, it's a copy cat league and it's pretty much all dink and dunk it now. Look at QB stats, this is something I've noticed for a few years now, a lot of 115-160 yard passing games even though there are a good number of attempts being made. I was watching some games yesterday and it honestly makes me even less interested in the NFL, it's so boring, pretty much every team runs the same offense now. I was watching the Jags offense and it sucks so bad lol, it's all 8 yard outs and runs up the middle, kinda surprised me given who the QB is and who the HC is.

Of course this doesn't absolve how terrible an OC Canada is and the fact he doesn't belong in the NFL but it's also not too surprising to see this trend with the Steelers given it's the overall trend in the NFL.
