One thing I didn’t account for was an early sack being enough to throw Kenny off his game.

Was it the hit? Was it seeing Najee get destroyed? It was like as soon as we saw Najee get hit the whole offense got scared.

I really wonder how bad the game plan would’ve been if Kenny completed those easy throws.

IMHO it wouldn't have mattered. The 49ers were the better team.

    My way to early draft:

    1.) Center
    2.) ILB
    3.) WR
    4.) OT
    5.) ILB
    6.) WR
    7.) OT

I have a solution. Play Washington and Jones, and interest Warren for wide runs making the 49ers defend the entire field. Ya think!. IMO this type of offense can work. Tweedledum and Tweedledee better figure it out. They making big bucks. You know who I am referring to. How deep does this rabbits hole go?

    END.
The Steelers had a great draft in 2023. However better play calling / coaching is badly needed. Tomlin is hasn't won a playoff game in six years and counting. Nor has hired anyone good to his coaching staff. Think about that. Mike Tomlin says, " hell yeah we've got to make some changes. " We are waiting. But Khan and Weidl appear to have better management on the salary cap and focused on the right free agents and draft needs.

I said play Washington and Jones and go max protect in the game thread on Sunday and your response was: "Washington has already been on the field. Are you watching?"

maybe it's because I didn't include Warren in the equation.

We should'v went max protect in the second half.

Running wide against the 49ers defense is almost certainly not a winning formula and the only back that got outside during that game was Najee. Warren got the ball, he had 3 carries for 6yds and 5 catches for 12 yards.

I said earlier: Play Jones at LT. Period.

I think the 49ers are the best team the Steelers play all year. Our young team got derailed from the get go.

Going into this Browns game, the need to go back to what they did best last year towards the end. long sustained drives. Run the ball with both RBS. keep our Def off the field and in return keep Chubb off the field.

Washington clearly deserves more playing time. Protect KP and all will be good

Did we even try? And run plays with Jones, Washington, and Warren on the field at the same time out of the two TE set? No, we did not. I said make them defend the entire field and stop us. In addition the 2 TE set makes it harder to rush from the edge. Not only can Jones and Washington block in the running game and are capable of moving their man backward, but both players can block on the move well. In case you missed it, the OL created next to no holes last Sunday. Do you understand what I am saying, " coach Wizard " ?

You must love the coaching of Tweedledee and Tweedledum .

We didn't use Jones but Washington and Warren got like 40% of the snaps, and Washington was used primarily as a blocker. The issue with Warren wasn't room to run, he had the ball in space and couldn't do anything with it. If anything I see the Steelers going with more Najee to try and get on track.
