Oh, I'm sorry I don't buy that Tomlin is the greatest coach ever like you do. He isn't. That's a big lie they feed you yinzers and you lap it up like it's total truth. Tell us how we are going to the Super Bowl this year. Hilarious.

Ah, no, half of what you stated is untrue. Pouncey, Searcy and DeCastro were poor as rookie blockers. I recall specifically Pouncey and DeCastro being tossed around like rag dolls as rookies. Not sure what games you are watching.

Link to ANYBODY calling Tomlin the best coach ever?

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

    TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

I watched Pouncey doing what NO OTHER CENTER IN THE LEAGUE could do as a rookie.

Over the years NOBODY has bagged on Pouncey being overrated. He was overrated BECAUSE of the HUGE splash he made as a rookie.

A couple years in he was injured and was never the same but his start was outstanding.

He made the probowl as a rookie. And before you dismiss that as the idea he was riding his reputation (as is often the case with veteran linemen) he HAD NO reputation as a rookie.

Softy Mendenhall had the second most rush TDs in franchise history (13) mostly running up the gut during Pounceys rookie season.

Do I dispute you saw Pouncey had bad plays? No.

But that is your problem dude. You see ONLY the flaws and not the good stuff.

I regularly saw Pouncey being overtaken by DTs, THAT I KNOW. He got pushed back into the backfield all the time.

Man I don't recall that. I remember him being a total stud from the get go. I am sure he lost a few 1/1 battles here and there, but not many at all. Pro bowler from his rookie year on.

Wasn't his rookie year our last super bowl run? He got hurt and we were doomed. I might not be right on the year
