I'm not a KP booster, but I was very glad that he fell. Thought we'd pick a QB no matter what. So I'm glad we got the guy who was consensus #1 QB in the class.

I’m in agreement that Moore isn’t awful.

Pretty decent first season for a mid round pick. Seems like a hard worker. The he struggled a bit with new coaching and new technique.

He improved as the season went on and I was thinking if he plays next to a better LG he could improve dramatically.

But we got a freakish athlete at LT who is still a work in progress. I think our rookie will pan out but I hope Moore plays great and makes it hard for the rookie to break into the lineup. That’s a good problem.

I had no issue either way. Could have lived with Moore getting better or went with a new T.

I like having the best players on the board and building around the best players regardless of position.

Can’t argue with any of that Flippy.

I don't think we would do it for a QB we drafted early because we're a patient team.

But I also think it's important to remember that Willis was a late-ish 3rd round pick (86). Later than Mason Rudolph (76).

I don't think it's some shock that "team drafts early 2nd round QB year after they draft late 3rd round project".

My guess is that statistically, QBs drafted in either of those spots have a low chance of being a real starter. So having two lottery tickets doesn't seem crazy to me. Particularly since it's been reported that they weren't happy with Willis after year 1.

It’s a fine balance between quantity and quality. At this point, I want these next two picks to be quality players. I’m hoping the guys we’ve taken so far can be starters.
