    But there was this one:

And this one also had a guy wide open (but not like in the clips you posted). One of my favorite KP passes.

As Alex said, miscommunication and blown coverage. I'm talking about stuff like NC pointed out later, wide open Najee walks in. Those are way too few and far between.

Broderick Jones is getting first-team reps at left tackle

Posted by Mike Florio on June 3, 2023, 11:26 AM EDT

Steelers first-round rookie Broderick Jones will indeed be the starting left tackle in Pittsburgh. The foundation is already being put in place. And the man who played the position last year has already been moved elsewhere.

Via Joe Rutter of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, two-year starter Dan Moore has been moved from the left side to the right side. And Jones has been getting the OTA first-team reps at left tackle.

Everyone is getting reps all around the board, Jones said, via Rutter. I'm taking it day by day, rep by rep, trying to get better.

    He's getting better by learning.

I'm learning new stuff on a daily basis, Jones said. There are a lot of things to be learned, and there is a lot of stuff I don't know. There is a lot of stuff I have to figure out. At the end of the day, being around older guys, talking to them, taking it in and soaking in the knowledge will help me.

The process continues for two more weeks, and then it picks up with camp. The overriding goal is to provide better protection for a quarterback who suffered a pair of concussions in 2022.

From the 2011-2022 season,(A 12 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Currently, Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in 6 years.

Steeler fans still loving on Tomlin now, are the same as Dolphin fans in the 90's who were still loving on Shula for what he did in the 70's

You mean the 2nd one I posted?

If you talked to the defense in the SF and KC clips you posted, they would surely say that they had miscommunications and blown coverages.

Isn't that what scheming up a TD is? You run plays that you think exploit the weaknesses in a D. Things where you've seen them make mistakes before. If you've seen that their S is too aggressive, put him in conflict. If he jumps the short route throw deep. If he stays with the deep guy, throw shot.

I'm not accusing Canada of being a good OC. But these things do happen for us too (I agree that I would like them to happen more).

Yea, just not nearly as much how they do with legit OCs. Not even close.
