On Levis he did take a lot of sacks ( 36 ) in a low amount of attempts. He did not run a 40 yard , 10 yard dash , not did he run a 20 yard shuttle or a cone drill at the combine or his pro day. Why? His estimated 40 yard dash time is believed to around 4.7. Now his " sackabilty " could be due to a bad OL, he likes to hold on to the ball too much, is his lack of mobility. It should be viewed negatively unless proven..

No there is not. But there is a correlation between qb's who hold the ball too long and QB's with an average to bad release and sacks. Football is a game of tenths of seconds!

maybe for sacks outside the pocket but that’s about it.

I don’t think anyone cares about a QB’s cone time or 40 time unless its blazing fast but that has nothing to do with sacks.

scouts will drool over them thinking they can fix the mechanics or whatever else .

Yep. Coaches in pro-sports have a lot of hubris.

I'm fine taking these kind of players outside of premium picks though. Maybe it's better to take a swing on a very good athlete vs. a guy who was smart / in position in college but looks too slow / small / weak for the NFL.
