And if helmet scouting is accurate, why have there been three first round OSU QBs recently? They can't play in the NFL.
All of these guys sucked in the NFL. Every prospect in unique but at the same time there games were similar at OSU and they were mostly over drafted.
The Steelers had a great draft in 2023. However better play calling / coaching is badly needed. Tomlin is 19-18-1 in last 38 games played and hasn't won a playoff game in six years and counting. Nor has hired anyone good to his coaching staff. Think about that. But Khan and Weidl appear to have better management on the salary cap and focused on the right free agents and draft needs.

If Kenny or Murray or anyone else you don’t like had that record and epic loss you would shred them to pieces.

Young is going 1 or 2. I doubt he drops much further than that and if he does trams will regret it. Alabama did NOT have a good OL last year compared to what they usually have. He was sacked 18 times. Maybe that is a lot for Alabama but its because Bama throws a whole lot more than they used to in the past. If you actually watched Young you would be honest and admit dude is similar to Patrick Mahomes keeping plays alive and finding open WR’s. He’s shifty. That whodini move vs Texas.. crazy.

Neither Stroud or Young are runners.. so its not important for them to run 40 times IMO.

The biggest question mark is timing. They won’t have all day to sit back and wait or run around to keep plays alive.

Levis ain’t it. Dude is all muscle, no touch and has game tapes are hard to digest.
    captured for posterity.
From the 2010-2022 season,(A 13 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Currently, Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in 6 years.

Steeler fans still loving on Tomlin now, are the same as Dolphin fans in the 90's who were still loving on Shula for what he did in the 70's

Levis pro day. Big arm.. but tight mechanics. Struggles with touch and has mediocre footwork. Again, big arm, but misses on throws underneath and struggled with timing and touch.

    basically Levis needs to stop
    lifting and start stretching.

Here's film of him at his pro day, arm talent is undeniable, but then again so was Kyle Boller's.

But can Levis throw 60 yards through the uprights from his knees? (I think that was Boller).

needs more arm flexibility because you’ll need that to get the ball away in the nfl.

Said he was the same way because NOD was a big lifter and followed his routine when drafted by the Steelers

I know you’re joking but I would guess yes.
his arm strength isn’t a question.
but it takes a lot more then that to be a successful qb in this league

Wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Steelers draft a QB this year.

Analysts are probably overthinking this again, seeing the next Lamar or Josh Allen in every athletic QB with a big arm. This is how gamblers go broke after winning a big bet early on.

Smart money says OL, DL, and CB dominate the picks before 1.17, unfortunately.
I just hope the go before the top 17. No, I do not think 4 qb's are going in the top ten.

Young is a runt and built like a small db. He got hurt which makes his durability a question mark, and played with Alabama where he did not shine as a passer. Yeah he made plays outside the pocket but won't be doing that as much in the NFL. IMO he is very over rated and fellow SEC champion Bennett is more impressive as a passer yet the media considers him a 3-7 round pick? Someone has to explain that to me. I don't get it. Young is a first round talent , but the are risks and flaws in his game.

Levis is a talent, but did not play as well as he should have. He is a first round talent too but despite being smart has yet to put it all together.

Stround looks and plays like a top QB. IMO he is a top five talent and should be the first player selected. The OSU QB's have not panned out.

Richardson plays like an underrated rookie, but his workout attributes are someone else. He may go in round one, but not in the top ten! Not in the top 17 IMO and if he is on the board we can used him to trade down.
