Update:
In the last decade:
25% of the league has won a super bowl. The steelers are not one of them.
20 teams have as many or more playoff wins as the steelers.
25 teams have won at least one playoff game, none have a worse playoff win percentage than the steelers.
the wings comment - i caught a little of a special on the ravens defense - tony siragusa told a story of eating a ton of wings the night before the game and being "stopped up"...
Once the cleared him out, he wasn't happy to see that they had the white uniforms that day. He said, if i'm on the field and laying on my back DO NOT roll me over![]()
2013 MNF Executive Champion!
That is the worry. As Ohio State guy that might have an off the field problem. In this case it too much food. I'm not saying he does or doesn't but he has to watch what he eats and listen to his coaches. Tomlin track record has too many prima donnas. I do not think he handles those type of player well.
We don't know him. The Steelers have a much better insight to his character. I think he is worth the 32nd pick of the draft because he is great at a few things, and there is very little great anything in the draft. A pure power based right tackle who will instantly upstage our run blocking and from the looks of it, has will do better at pass blocking too. He has to watch those flags and watch his weight.
The Steelers had a great draft in 2023. However better play calling / coaching is badly needed. Tomlin is 19-18-1 in last 38 games played and hasn't won a playoff game in six years and counting. Nor has hired anyone good to his coaching staff. Think about that. But Khan and Weidl appear to have better management on the salary cap and focused on the right free agents and draft needs.
Hope you're right Deville. Given the choice between drafting one of the top 3 LTs and letting Moore and Chuks fight for the right side vs. a stud RT and Chuks and Moore battle for the left side, I'm hoping for a LT. Want to see what happens if none fall at 17 and Anton Harrison and either Jones/Wright available at 32.
