I was close.. Steelers offered him 5/70Mill. He turned it down like a dummy. I know he wanted the guaranteed money and I didn’t blame him but the year off hurt.

Now, I did debate his talents to no end while he was holding out. Once he came back and never reached his earlier potential I conceded that he was toast.

Its not hard at all to admit when I’m wrong when the proof is there.

But we do have others who refuse to admit the obvious even when its right in front of them.

why would I say he was toast when I didn’t believe he was toast?

It was during his time in KC when it was obvious to me he wasn’t ever returning to form.
