EDIT: Found him, Steven Ruiz from The Ringer, a pop culture site. This is like Vulture ranking the QBs.
He did a podcast with Bill Simmons where he said some “interesting” things.

Found it.. best thing about this list is the UI. Its slick.

Steven Ruiz made this list, he also said this recently: “Tom Brady would be Kirk Cousin’s if he entered the league today”

The Steelers had a great draft in 2023. However better play calling / coaching is badly needed. Tomlin is 19-18-1 in last 38 games played and hasn't won a playoff game in six years and counting. Nor has hired anyone good to his coaching staff. Think about that. But Khan and Weidl appear to have better management on the salary cap and focused on the right free agents and draft needs.

Its intentional get people talking and arguing and to drive traffic to the site. I damn sure wanted to see the list after reading the description.

Calling Ridder a baller and dawg? Based on what? He surely hasn’t shown that yet at the NFL level.

Drafting a QB early in this draft is just ridiculous, not worth discussing IMO.

Without decent blocking, skilled position players and play calling, the offense won’t be very good. I don’t care who you have at QB.
KP had a shaky OL, RB playing injured, only 1 skilled position player with any real experience and a subpar OC.
And he STILL went 7-2 down the stretch, getting better with more playing time.

KP’s stats would probably be much better with the 49ers OL, RB, WRs, TE, scheme and play-calling.
Purdy’s stats would probably be much worse in the Steelers offense last year.
Ben’s rookie year he was a game manager and ½ of the rest of the offense were pro-bowl or all-pro players.

You can’t judge a ROOKIE QB on stats alone without looking at the big picture.
At least let KP come in as the clear #1 and see how he performs before suggesting replacements.

Name a rookie QB that played as well as Purdy? My point is that is extremely rare and he deserves credit. Your not looking at the big picture. I am suggesting we draft a qb, because I think Pickett is not the answer, he is a game manger type. It would be wise to have other option bedsides Turbisky, and Rudolph.

A Pickett lead offense scored just 26 points in 3 games vs good QB ( 3,10 and 13 ) vs. the Bills, Dolphins and Eagles. Does that sound like a franchise QB to you?
