Agree. I hope they don't use Cool Shades influence this time.

Ouch!! Well, someone else said it. Can't blame us Tomlin Truthers on this one.
From the 2010-2022 season,(A 13 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Currently, Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in 6 years.

Steeler fans still loving on Tomlin now, are the same as Dolphin fans in the 90's who were still loving on Shula for what he did in the 70's

If they just did that and fixed the ILB position, I’d consider this a successful draft.

How many starters do you think think we need to add to "build both lines" and "fix the ILB position"?

My guess is that number will end up begin more than a reasonable number of expected starters from a given draft.

I agree with DJ here. "Just" these three things is a multi year project.

We've seen by several drafts by several different teams that you can fix an O-line in one draft. Rams, Colts ,Redskins come to mind.
The D-line is bad and I expect them to use at least one pick on that D-line.
Our line backing corps is woeful too. And I expect them to take one ILB.

If free agency isn't used, then I too agree it will be a multi year project.

that somewhat depends on how aggressive in free agency we choose to be.

That depends on cap space, and redoing contracts to pay guys past their good years, or after they retire is dumb. I don't see any marquee names landing in black and gold.

I agree that this is an ongoing multi-year project. I figured that starting last off-season this is a three year goal. Improve in 5 or 6 areas per year, and work towards contending by 2024. Next season we will have to see what some of the young guys can contribute: Leal, Loudermilk, Heyward, Robinson.
