Well, if they are fixed, it's high time that the fixers put in the fix for the Steelers to win something again. The biggest, best fan base in the NFL demands it!

The out come of games were not "fixed" but influenced. It also wasn't a league wide issue where ownership was involved or knew about it. It was one ref. Maybe there were some other refs that didn't get caught?

I am talking about league wide knowledge of fixing/scripting vs individuals influencing the out come of games. I agree that certain individuals(players, refs, coaches) can influence the outcome of games. I don't agree that it's league wide fixing or scripting of games.

I highly doubt the outcomes of games are scripted. I do wonder if the league somehow makes it known to the refs who they'd like to see win particular games

betting is legal now and a huge reason sports are so popular is because of gambling.

Why is an injury report required? Because of betting.

Why did that Charger vs Steeler game end in controversy and have the Steelers with 13 penalties and the Chargers had 2 (1 of them was the illegal pass forward that changed the spread for the Chargers) in a game in Pittsburgh.

Donahue admitted more refs were on the take. People kept watching.

Goodell destroyed the tapes. We kept watching.

The NFL admitted they changed the catch rule before it was voted on just for the SB game in 2018. We kept watching.

If it ever came out refs were influencing the game or were compromised people would still watch because its football.

Well betting is legal in more places now, it has been legal in other places for a long time. There is just too many people that would have to be involved in order to pull it off and continue to pull it off. More legalized gambling is even more of reason not to cheat, because again if you are exposed then nobody is going to bet on your product. So again the risk to the NFL is much greater than the reward, they already have the gambling and the tv revenue with sponsors lined up out the door, any bump that they might get from cheating would be minimal compared to what it would cost.

It sure seems like the NFL is rigged. I don't know if that is actually the case, but if you study the gematria in sports, this can make you have serious doubts. Nevertheless if sports are rigged what would be the point in watching the games. I may as well watch HGTV with the wife instead of yelling at the bad officiating.

If we found out the games for a fact are rigged, that would be the very end of the NFL. And a lot of lawsuits by angry gamblers too.
