I haven't watched a pro bowl since the 70s.
I used to go to the Pro Bowl game every year (and so did Captain Lemming since apparently he and I are the same person).
the last year I attended it had already become a glorified flag football game. I don't miss it at all, and neither does the Captain

BUT, if it was a steeler selected, 1/2 this board would be telling us how great X player is and how they deserved it..

25% of the league has won a super bowl. The steelers are not one of them.
20 teams have as many or more playoff wins as the steelers.
25 teams have won at least one playoff game, none have a worse playoff win percentage than the steelers.

Huntley sucks. But as big underdogs had the defending afc champions (times 2 almost) on the brink

RIP to the pro bowl. It used to be a good football game when players played hard. Now the NFL should just name their all pro team and call it a day.
The Steelers had a great draft in 2023. However better play calling / coaching is badly needed. Tomlin is 19-18-1 in last 38 games played and hasn't won a playoff game in six years and counting. Nor has hired anyone good to his coaching staff. Think about that. But Khan and Weidl appear to have better management on the salary cap and focused on the right free agents and draft needs.
Some players that made the probowl deserved it. Some players that made it probably didn't deserve it.
I don't believe most fans take the probowl seriously anymore.
At least the league is changing it up to get fans interested in the pre SB festivities.

Although I guess a skills competition is better than a game where no one cares what happens.
