I couldn't disagree more fervently. They broke the mold when Bettis was created. There has been only one "big back" (RB over 250 LBs) other than Bettis who rushed for more than one season over 1,000 yards, and that was Natrone Means who rushed for two. Bus did it EIGHT times. Bettis is 100% worthy of the Hall of Fame, Harris won't even come close to it. BUS RUSHED FOR OVER 13,000 YARDS IN HIS CAREER. You think JH is even gonna come close to that?

I doubt Najee rushes for 13,000 for his career but I think he will be a 1,000
yard back most of the years he is healthy. Part of this is due to having 17 games but mostly it will be because Najee isn’t a feast or famine RB. Give him adequate blocking and he is fine.

Also, if Najee had the OL that Bettis had.. lol, he would definitely have better numbers.

It was gaudy, but proof you don't need a back with a huge YPC average. Just protect the rock and keep the chains moving. It kills the clock. The other team can't score if they don't have the ball.

Totally different player; when Najee produces the bulk of Bettis with his sweet feet, then we'll talk. The NFL has NEVER seen that combination of bulk with suddenness with the feet of a dancer. JH can't - and will never - be able to carry Bus' jock strap. JH isn't even in the top half of the current NFL RBs. Bettis is a Hall of Famer.
