Id be open to that trade..
Im not sold on the "No special player" idea though. Every team in the league passed on San Fran's Franchise QB 7 times..

It's 10 minutes for 1st round picks now. Good point though with the long wait in between day 1 n day 2 there will be multiple offers I'm sure. Not looking for us to move far off 32 but we just may get someone to overpay.

We should be looking at trading up from 32 back into the 1st round too.

If we go up one spot, we get access to the 5th year option.

That’s a big potential get to add 1 more year on a premium player at a discount rate around the time KP could still be relatively inexpensive.

The Steelers already have 2 2nd round picks and 2 7th round picks.

Since kicking around trade possibilities is always interesting lets try this.
Likely top T's and Porter off the board at 17. Likely on the board are Witherspoon, Gonzalez,Sanders and Torrence.
Trade with Seattle. Swap 1st and 2nd round picks.
We get pick 20 in round 1 and pick 37 in round 2. Seattle picks 17 in 1st and 49 in round 2. Math is almost exact.
That gives us 3 picks in the top 37 and not much difference in our 1st round selection. Three selections that early could be and I repeat could be real good.

Well, then again we could draft a Bush, a player who we don't even want to pay on his 5th year option. Yea never know. "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."

Wow, that is a cool take. Interesting.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

Add Heath, DeCastro, Holmes, Faneca,... some studly picks in the mid-20s, early 30s.
