KP8 had 3rd fewest turnover worthy plays

Some hate it when the facts come into play.

He has just 12 plays that were turnover worthy, just behind Dalton and Hurts.

This is a good article to read and learn a little on a new NFL metric.

    Enjoy!

    Good to see the comparisons.

Most of the INTs KP threw weren’t bad passes and some of the INTs were on the WRs.

A bunch of his worst mistakes weren’t even INTs.

I really think it’s a matter of figuring out how big the windows are and where he’s receivers need the balls to be to make plays.

I really expect a lot to start clicking for him next season. He’s really close to taking his game up another level.

As a percentage, his 2.5 on 389 attempts is good, so hopefully it translates when they actually start throwing it beyond 10 yards, and with 500+ attempts overall. Not sure why the article only looked at overall number without any context, but clicks are needed.

Brady, Herbert, Burrow, and Mahomes all having 600+ passes yet still have that low TWP% is incredible, especially when 3 of them have 60+ attempts beyond 20 air yards.

Maybe the third fewest turnover worthy plays because his ANY/A was under 6 yds?

This writeup says KP's rookie season was most like.....wait for it......Carson Wentz's.

    Hopefully going forward KP follows a different path than Wentz;

Kenny Pickett is the real deal. I can't believe I'm saying this but I agree with Tomlin's evaluation of him.

I thought Wentz was on a really good path until that injury that lead to Foles winning a super bowl. Wentz never recovered from that.

I liked Wentz coming out of college. Thought he had game. But yea, he was never the same after his knee injury.

"Behind Dalton?" Well, I guess that tells you how important of a stat this is. If it puts you "behind Dalton" or any where near him, it must not be a very critical indicator of good QB play, because Dalton sucks bad, and has sucked bad for years. I could care less that Kenny has so few "turn over worthy" plays if he ain't ringing up the TD passes, which he ain't.

There are a lot of good QB’s behind Dalton on that list.

Yea, that's what I mean. They can cream their rainbows, smoke up the @ss stats until they are paired with real meaningful stats. The other QBs you mention have low turnover rates WHILE throwing tons of passes deep downfield. Our QB pumps up his low turnover ratio passes while throwing 5 yard passes all day long. Big whoop. "But he's just below Andy Dalton!" Oh dear God, we're saved now!

Show me some gad damned production and TD passes before I care about these fiddle fart stats.
