Damn.. dude parties hard. He looks like one of those guys that will probably spend
the rest of his life in Athens getting free booze.

What is crazy is UGA just had a player and a student recruiter killed in a crash the night of the parade.

Its time for Bennett to move if he is serious about getting drafted.

    This.
I think Dobbs would come back because he'd understand that he's now #2 in the rotation. And he would likely cost a lot less than Mitch's $8m salary.
I wouldn't go UDFA, tho - I'd draft one on day 3 - ya might get a Purdy

I’ve learned that when people on the internet demand you do their homework they don’t really want the answer. They will always move the goal post because they lack integrity.

When this dude couldn’t admit he was wrong about Pierre on the outside I knew he was a phony. He’s just here to spam the board.
I honestly don't think he's here to spam the board - I think he doesn't quite know the game (or the team) as well others do.
I could be wrong, but I will admit that I'm more likely to engage with a fan who simply doesn't know, because I don't want our fans going out there looking bad in discussions.

I am not wanting him as a mid round pick as of right now.

I think his odds of being a Steeler however just went up as the culture Tomlin has created provides a home for prima donnas. For some reason we find a home for players like him in the draft.

The Steelers had a great draft in 2023. However better play calling / coaching is badly needed. Tomlin is 19-18-1 in last 38 games played and hasn't won a playoff game in six years and counting. Nor has hired anyone good to his coaching staff. Think about that. But Khan and Weidl appear to have better management on the salary cap and focused on the right free agents and draft needs.

Mitch has guranteed money still on the books; if we cut him, he's still getting paid. So Art isn't going to cut him solely because he's owed money. That's how Arty rolls. Doesn't matter if it's for the betterment of the team..he's looking at that money!!!

Art's antiquated ways are the # 1 thing holding us back; similar to the way Halas held back the Bears from the 60's to the mid 80's (I believe old man Halas died in 82) .

    1. Holding on to non-playoff game winning head coach
    2. Not using free agency in a serious manner in modern day football
    3. Bottom basement shopping for O-linemen
    4. Smallest scouting staff in football

These things come from the top. So,...as a Steeler fan, all we can do is do what Bears fans did from the 60's to mid 80's; hang in there and wait for something drastic to change in ownership.

That's where we are at. So there's no need to get all upset cause if Art is still owning the team, most of the things I listed above are not changing.

Just sit back and enjoy the excuse making from the TTTers; I do. I read them like they’re e doesnthe comics in the newspaper. So amusing. They've been making constant excuses for over a decade now and they get madder at us for noting the failures of our team. They shoot the messenger around here; and mods will ban the messengers if the TTTers can bait you into calling them names after they call you names.

no he doesn’t. His signing bonus is already paid.
For salary cap purposes it’s broken down per year. But art isn’t dishing out more money this year for that.

he had incentive bonuses based on amount of snaps played. I don’t believe he was even close to them.

only the signing bonus (divided by 2) would go on the dead cap ($2.6)

so 2.6 cap hit if he's not on the team
10.6 cap hit if he is on the team ($8m salary for 2023)

    i agree with 1-4

Dizz has convinced me that Kenny was such a bad prospect that offensive genius Mike Tomlin had to design such a dumbed down system that a 3rd grader could operate it. Word is that his silverware in the cafeteria was tipped with corks, too.

I'm trading up into the top 3 to get a new QB that the Steelers don't have to protect from himself.

    Thanks, dizz!

Bennet (if not in jail by that time) will end up playing in Canada.

The signing Bonus is what I'm talking about. That's the guaranteed money. It's spread out over two years but its money..on the books! If he cut Mitch today, Mitch isn't giving back any portion of that signing bonus thus, that would be a hit on our books for this year ..money that Art would be shelling out and getting nothing for.

And I don't see how you can disagree with # 3...how was Colbert constructing the O-line the last 3 years? By what methods? He wasn't using high draft picks like when we got DeCastro or Pouncey.

From the 2010-2022 season,(A 13 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Currently, Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in 6 years.

Steeler fans still loving on Tomlin now, are the same as Dolphin fans in the 90's who were still loving on Shula for what he did in the 70's
