Yea, sure. If they bring Mitch back:
1.) He can hold more "practices/parties" where teammates get so wasted that they get run over trolloping on busy highways at 5 AM, with a .25 alcohol blood content, on ketamine and its metabolite norketamine. No, that's not really positive.
2.) They can pay $8 million making him the 2nd highest paid backup in the league without an upside. No, that's not really a good thing either.
3.) They can overpay a backup who doesn't have an upside and is pretty much done developing, as opposed to filling the spot with a player who could develop into a starter, at a 3rd/6th of the cost.
OK, a real positive, they would have a backup who knows the "system" and team. Is that really something that tips the scales to keeping Mitch? Oh, Art doesn't have to worry about "moving" someone. There's that, which Art seems to overly covet.
