The offense has been pretty bad under Canada. I hope that the apparent improvements in the last few games are real (scheme wise). Would be interesting to see if anyone breaks down a bunch of tape from mid to end of the year to see if anything was changing with the system.
why would Rooney want to fire Canada after the last 7 games?

I know why WE want to fire Canada but the FO is seeing wins. The stadium was packed the last game of the season with a **** at the playoffs until the last 3 minutes of the game.

What will be interesting is seeing how these other teams do next hear with new coordinators because new hires don’t always work out and I think fans forget that.

Ah, one of those things that "changed" were we started playing all bad teams. That will help your scheme.

There's a bit of a difference from when you play the Bills than when you play the Falcons.
From the 2010-2022 season,(A 13 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Currently, Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in 6 years.

Steeler fans still loving on Tomlin now, are the same as Dolphin fans in the 90's who were still loving on Shula for what he did in the 70's

I guess “next season ruined” means that a bunch of yinz won’t be watching any of the games or posting on here.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

    Steeler fans reaction on Twitter.

Just in case Rooney and company were wondering, fans don't agree with bringing Canada back. 19 points per game ain't cutting it. Every team in the NFL would fire him over his production the last 2 years. But not Art II, it's too difficult to move people. Better to keep an inferior product on the field.

You stick with your team through think and thin.

Because it's a small sample size (against below average teams) and the offense he puts on the field hasn't been good at scoring points in two years.

I hope that it's better next year.

But Canada doesn't seem to have used the time he's had to develop things and make the offense better. Seems more of a "this is what I do, and it's what I'm doing" kind of guy.

Who knows though. Maybe they'll be above average next season (crosses fingers)

half of them probably don’t watch.. lol.

and you never see them posting after wins, they show up after losses.

if they do show up after a win its to remind us that we would’ve lost if “XYZ happened” or remind us how many players were hurt for the other team.

I have a friend or 2 like this and everyone always asked the same questions during games. “Are you even a fan? Do you even want us to win?”

    exactly.

Its a small sample size with a rookie QB.

why would you want to react after a small sample size with more wins than losses for your rookie QB who you probably didn’t intend to see this early in his rookie year?
