    Gp > dj

Pickens is the best WR on this team by far. He made clutch plays last night that DJ is getting paid to made. The dropped TD would have been a tough catch, but that is what DJ got the big money to make. I understand DJ is suppose to be a "volume receiver," but I'm afraid as Pickens gets better, DJ's contract will look bad

Pickens had two drops and a 3rd in EZ that he slowed up on and tried to one-hand, he's far from a complete receiver. Of course, DJ had an EZ drop, too.

Right now DJ looks like a good #2 and GP looks like Paul Richardson circa 2017.

Behind them are Sims, White, and Gunner. They clearly need help at the position, at which their draft prowess is a bit overrated.

DJ has been disappointing this year. Great catch vs the Bengals in the first week but besides that he has been pedestrian.

and I don’t think you can coach the fear out of him that he has once he catches the ball. Next time he might run backwards for -10 yards if he see’s a defender.

Starting to think he is so scared of being hit its why he fumbled last year vs KC when no one touched him. Also fumbled in the Lions game after a nice run after the catch. Way too much money for a guy who can only catch 5 yard curls.

I sound like an old timer but players now seem to intentionally try to catch one handed passes bc our world is enamored by superstar plays over the routine stuff. Media acts like middle schoolers when a guy catches a ball with one hand. Pickens should of caught that ball in the corner instead of going for a highlight reel

It is so odd watching him consistently run the wrong way after a catch to try to get around defenders. Is he really afraid of contact? Or does he think he can get more YAC? I don't know but that needs to stop.

When we see DJ repeating this throughout the season, it makes me wonder if any coach on the team has ever taken him aside to address it

Overpaid, without question. Needs to take a pay cut if he is to remain next year.

Even Aikman made note of it last night: "He had the 1st down if he would have just continued running the direction he already was, but he turned and lost yards."

The pass in the endzone to Pickens was a bad pass. High and wide. He never slows up. KP had plenty of time and had a receiver wide open and missed him. He wasn't trying to make a highlight catch. He uses 2 hands all the time including a super nice sidelines grab in the 2nd Q.

What do they watch in the film room? How many times do they need to go over not running backwards after DJ catches the ball. Stop dancing and run foward instead of losing 3 to 5 yards.
