Could just be me, but so many games are head scratchers.
I'm sure they'll change the rules so it becomes even harder to play defense.

Pretty soon it's gonna look like Probowl games of the last few years- basically flag football.

true, but there's ways you can help a young qb get in a rhythm. jets fans are blaming the OC on that. but like here, the coach is approving those offensive game plans

Any how, enough is enough, Jets have benched Wilson for next game. So, yes, Kenny has not been sensational, but he could be worse; he could be Zach Wilson bad. The only good point about a young QB playing that bad, is you KNOW you need another QB to get better. Shockingly, with QB play as bad as ZW, Jets are still on track to make the playoffs.
They should tank for a top 3 pick so they can draft a QB.

    Oh, wait...

Contrast Zach Wilsons answer with Fields
who apologized to the team for not playing well when the defense gave them chances in the last game.
Fields was a hot mess with bad coaching last year, thankfully for his sake they fixed it in one offseason.

Imagine the 70s Steelers doing jersey swaps and dance videos and signaling first down after every first down.

Imagine current players smoking on the sideline.

It's almost like culture has changed a bit in the half century of time we're talking about here.

It turns out that his post-game comments seemed to have to do with as much of his benching than did his play. When asked if he felt guilty to his D for putting up such paltry offense, he replied with a definitive "No, no," taking no accountability or zero responsibility, as is the case with so many "kids" these days. It was such a brazen, cocky and inappropriate reply that if the coach didn't bench him he was flirting with team mutiny.
