From the 2011-2022 season,(A 12 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Currently, Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in 6 years.

Obtuse Shades Tomlin is often referred to as a top 5 head coach in the NFL. A "top 5" head coach who hasn't won a playoff game in going on 6 years. A "top 5" head coach who's last 3 playoff games ended up with his defense giving up 40+ point in losses - every single of his last 3 playoff games, his D gave up over 40 points. But we are supposed to consider him a "top coach."
But even with the "most expensive D in the NFL" his defense is not only not superior, but less than ordinary. Just this season alone, his "most expensive D in the NFL" has given up 38, 37 and 35 points and lost games (other than those) going down the stretch to the Browns, Jets and Browns with the D wilting to lose the game at the end. All that $ spent on the D and it's no where near the top D.
