Burrow, well he's got a few years under his belt (and oh, half his games his rookie season were in the 5-6 yd/att range). I don't see evidence that KP has reached his ceiling yet.
Burrow said he was impressed watching Kenny and told him about it after the game.

Warner: KP "went toe to toe" with Joe Burrow. "I like where he is at". Multiple times he said he didn't like the play concept, pointing a finger at Canada.

Good stuff, thanks for sharing. The other noticeably bad thing about the offense is that there are no freebies, nothing schemed to get a guy wide open, every yard gained is a struggle and requires perfect execution. Where is all the play action we heard that Ben was preventing? Where are the bunch sets? The motioning of WR to a LB, as so often happens to our defense?

It's basically just line up and beat your man.

at 3:53 on the play to Pickens for a nice gain Muth was wide open on the other side of the field.

and I mean WIDE OPEN by 10 yards.

Muth would have 1 man to beat and he may tale it to the house.

Fan Morning Show grudgingly gives Kenny Pickett credit for a good game last night, but couldn't resist casting this version of him as the final one. This is who he is, time to build around a game manager.

Lol, I've never seen a first round QB so micro-scrutinized in all my life. Trevor Lawrence had a great game Sunday and some analysts were wondering if he's finally turning a corner.

That's the first overall pick from the 2021 draft in his 28th start still developing, but Kenny is forever Derek Carr and the topic is closed.

Kenny still can't make Alex's winners list. How did Wallace? I seem to recall him getting beaten a lot. And Highsmith for making 2 plays at the end after being invisible all game.

Alex is clearly grading Kenny on a curve based on expectations and pre-draft biases.

Here's the throw everyone was blaming on Kenny, who was under pressure and threw to a spot. Pickens slowed down out of his break and had to try to catch up, then tried to one hand the ball like his left hand was pinned to his side.

Sorry, fam - that's more on GP.

hmm.. I thought it was more on Pickett. Some pressure but enough time to drop that in there. Its coming though. You can see them developing a chemistry.

That 2 point conversion was lovely. Pickens also had 2 more drops that should’ve been caught.

    It happens..

I see 2 TD’s and another 50 yards left in the field due to drops by DJ and Pickens.

He just doesn't get a lot of help from his receivers if the ball isn't placed perfectly. Throw in all the OL breakdowns and playcalling and it's actually quite impressive how he's developing.

His running gets ignored by most, too. If Lamar, Hurts, Allen, Fields, etc. make some of those runs then he's a Dangerous Dual Threat QB, when Kenny does He Needs To Stay In The Pocket.
