Neil Sedaka spoke for all cornerbacks with the song:

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

    TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

Unless they are covering Claypool of course.
    Then it is pretty easy.

It's the "Steelers' way." Don't plan anything smart, just rely on execution only. No sense in outsmarting anyone. That's crazy talk.

The only thing to "get" is that he never was a secondary "expert" to begin with; just like in Pgh he was in the right place at the right time and has the gift of bull sh-t, more than anything else. He's been getting exposed these last 5 years on it.

Who kept allowing Perine to be constantly open over and over again for TD's? Who's responsible for that?
From the 2011-2022 season,(A 12 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Currently, Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in 6 years.

To me Burrow was the difference in the outcome of the game. He generally got ride of the ball quickly and made accuraten throws into tight windows.

It kinda IS the Steeler way. ALL Steeler coaches since 69', not just Tomlin

Yes, goes all the way back to Noll smoking the clever geniuses in Cincinnati (Walsh) and Sandiego (Coryell).

On the flip side, to me, the difference was the Steelers' inability to generate much of a pass rush through most of the game, and inept coverage from the LBs and DBs
Jack & Bush were abused -- we badly need upgrades at ILB, if we're going to continue to run the same defense

That was the scheme. Coach said "get open", he got open.
