By that way Lamar scored at 12 and Pickett a 17. The average QB scores about a 25.

Let's try to get this car back onto the road...the most deadly offensive weapon you can have is a smart QB who is accurate AND can make plays with his legs. That's what I fear Burrow is, it's what Montana and Young were, too. That's what we should all hope Kenny is, too, he'll never be a Ben or Allen or Bradshaw, doesn't have that kind of arm, but he can be great in his own way.

Best take on the topic in this thread. Mobility is a plus IF you are accurate and smart. It is an asset, but not central to championship level success.

Pretty sure I said every few years a few fans try to hype a mediocre white utility player and predict he will win a few games for us and it never happens.

You are correct. But Marino had an amazing arm and a lighting fast release. Bradshaw was a physical marvel in his day. Kelly too was very skilled. Comparing them to Pickett is silly is it not?

I'd put McNabb on the next tier...and Picket isn't even in the next tier below that if we are being honest.

He's a rookie. I get it but things like arm strength, reading, a defense, and accuracy are below average for a 4 year QB college standing QB today....if we are being honest.

I hope he can show me and prove me wrong. Let him play out the season. I don't care one iota is he throws 8 more picks.

Bottom line, at some point the Steelers are gonna have to make the call on whether KP brings enough to his game that he can beat the division opponents.
With 4 of those games in the back half it's gonna be a good start to building the case one way or another.
