Exactly, I can already predict his answer when confronted on Tuesday with this:

"We knew what they were doing, too, they just executed better."

This is what many people feared with Tomlin and his simplistic game-planning approach when the talent wasn't there, and why he might be thinking of moving on. His legacy could get seriously tarnished the next few years.

Should have fired Canada at the bye.

I'm worried that Windy is right and they will hold on to him if his contract isn't over at the end of the year. Because that's how this organization runs.

Bengals' LB says they knew what our offense would be doing in the second half, because they know the Steelers like to run the same plays over & over

don't look for any improvement as long as our bush-league OC remains at the helm

    Canada’s agent is a genius ; that’s all I can say. Lol
From the 2010-2021 season, (A 12year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Currently, Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in 5 years.

Dolphin fans in the 90ís held on to Don Shula for too long for what he did in the playoffs in the 70ís...
Are the same as Steeler fans (of 2021 ) holding on to Tomlin for too long for what he did in 2008, with Cowher's players & coaches.

I don't believe Tomlin is either.

I've heard him mention several times that he prefers to go with "his gut".

The only hope is Khan is more open to analytics, at least for player evaluations. Playcalling analytics is different and I think more limited in value against high end teams that control tendencies. But it is probably useful against lesser teams that are lazy in gameplanning and have tendencies that don't vary much.

You don't have to like it (and I know you won't) but three reasons why Matt Canada could still be the Steelers' OC in 2023.
