Mitch was not the problem last night. Was it me or were the vast majority of the passes down the sidelines?

Why are we ignoring the middle of the field?

    That's not Mitch, that's Canada.

After being dominated vs their run in the playoff game, by 3 back up OL PLAYING no less,
this staff solution to upgrade the OL was to draft green in the 3rd, Moore in the 4th, and bring in cole and Daniele as free agents.

ALMOST A FULL QUARTER the Browns possessed the football. I lay most of the blame on the offense. One for 9 on 3rd down is way short of varsity play.

But it wasn't all negative. Good mix of plays on offense. A few more passes downfield (but DJ needs to shut up about getting the ball!). Run blocking modestly improved. Special teams on point. Trubisky had better throws, just not enough of them.

Defense needs a long rest. 0-6 with Watt on defense says a lot.

Outcome not completely a surprise though.
We are going to be a 6-11 team by season’s end.
From the 2011-2022 season,(A 12 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Currently, Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in 6 years.

Accuracy had nothing to do with 3 crucial drops I saw last night. DJ’s being the biggest one.

I'm no Canada fan but I'm not convinced that it's all Canada. Mitch isn't seeing the field well. I've seen more than one replay that shows a receiver open that he never finds. And his throws are erratic.

Mitch was one of the problems last night. The offense worked well enough in the first half. But all those 3-and-outs in the 2nd were killers. I'm surprised we didn't lose by more.

We're two players away from being able to compete. Watt on D. Kenny (or even Mason) on O.

    Mason got royally screwed IMO.

It’s not ALL Canada; but he’s a part of the problem for sure. The biggest part is we can’t run the ball with Harris but can’t leave out underwhelming WR play as well.

No, that's Mitch. There are routes over the middle on every play. Mitch wasn't the problem but he also wasn't the solution, if you need an average roster to play perfect football to prop up your QB, you're peeing into a fan.

This is a QB driven league and we don't have one who can drive the team, at least not in Mitch or Mason. They're complementary players who need a lot of help.

Heading into last night's game, MT was 28th in off target %. He's played as a bottom tier QB in the NFL.
