So how are the other drafted QB's doing?

For those two read my stuff I didn't want Pickett in round one. Nor any qb is round one, for that matter. I felt Matt Corall was the best of a bad poor QB class, and would have taken him in round three ( Pickens in round two is who I would have taken), over Leal who I like too. Well what do you know Corral is impressing in camp. He went 4-4 the other day and is running with the 2's already.

They already taking about his quick release, which I a thing I liked about him and concern with Pickett. Behind our OL a fast release would be most welcome.

Meanwhile I'm waiting for Pickett to show something...

    Draft

1 ) Lloyd - Would like start and save us a ton of money we spent on Jack.
    2 ) Pickens. He was a steal.
    3 ) Corrall - A qb of the future

The Steelers had a great draft in 2023. However better play calling / coaching is badly needed. Tomlin is hasn't won a playoff game in six years and counting. Nor has hired anyone good to his coaching staff. Think about that. Mike Tomlin says, " hell yeah we've got to make some changes. " We are waiting. But Khan and Weidl appear to have better management on the salary cap and focused on the right free agents and draft needs.

Willis is reportedly struggling early on, which is to be expected.

I heard that. I think he's going to disappoint anyway.

It doesn't matter at this point. Some fans never learn.

Lol, one of those articles shows video of Corral throwing the ball into a bucket from 10 yards away with no one else around him. Is that what has you excited? That he can hit a bucket wearing shorts and a jersey with no pads and no defense?

I will take this opportunity to illustrate how we all "imagine" we are as Monday Morning GMs.

You do accurately confirm you liked Corrall. Bu there is NO WAY you'd wait to the 3rd by your own words my friend.

Corral has a great arm, he's semi mobile, and accurate. And he's doing it in the SEC on a mid talented team off to a hot start. Size at 6'2" is not and issue. Close to being sold on him being the pick if he keeps this up, then in round two go for a tackle and spend the non -qb cap space on another OL.
By the way the ONLY mention of Lloyd you've ever made on this forum is this guy:

    Proof?

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

    TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

When I call MT a HOF Self Promoter I'm not ridiculing him. We all need some of that. MT is good and Leal in the 3rd is an inspired pick. I'm suggesting the Steelers deserve better than just a good HC.

You are right. And if Pickett is a fail then it could mark the beginning of the end for Tomlin and scouts who selected him, which some people would applaud.

I am going to follow Ridder. I know nothing but it seems like he has the most upside.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

    My way to early draft:

    1.) Center
    2.) ILB
    3.) WR
    4.) OT
    5.) DL
    6.) QB
    7.) OT

    We don't apologize for winning!
