So how are the other drafted QB's doing?

For those two read my stuff I didn't want Pickett in round one. Nor any qb is round one, for that matter. I felt Matt Corall was the best of a bad poor QB class, and would have taken him in round three ( Pickens in round two is who I would have taken), over Leal who I like too. Well what do you know Corral is impressing in camp. He went 4-4 the other day and is running with the 2's already.

They already taking about his quick release, which I a thing I liked about him and concern with Pickett. Behind our OL a fast release would be most welcome.

Meanwhile I'm waiting for Pickett to show something...

    Draft

1 ) Lloyd - Would like start and save us a ton of money we spent on Jack.
    2 ) Pickens. He was a steal.
    3 ) Corrall - A qb of the future

The offense needs a RB capable of hitting big plays in the rushing and passing department, and two new starting OL. The run D needs at DT/NT and new ILB to stop the run. Better play calling / coaching is badly needed. Time to put them all on the shopping list for the next draft / offseason because they are not changing this year. That much I'm fairly confident of.

Willis is reportedly struggling early on, which is to be expected.

I heard that. I think he's going to disappoint anyway.

Willis probably should have stayed in college another season or 2. He isn't ready. I believe he banked on the notion of not being a strong class for QBs.

So staying in college an extra season will prepare a QB to be more prepared for the NFL?? Hmmm... interesting...

    Why? He wanted Pickett.

You really think the media using Willis’ college head coach as a source made it true?

and IMO anyone who reports a rookie QB is breezing thru their first camp is probably a source you shouldn’t use.
Tomlin’s coming back so what can you do?

That has yet to be determined Dizz.
If Pickett flames out THEN he will be Tomlins pick.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

    TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

    It's trickier with Ben.

He was Colbert's pick (and Cowher's player) when he was throwing TDs.

But Tomlin's pick and Tomlin's player when throwing picks.

Generally Tomlin's player early and Cowher's player late?

    Did I do that right?
