    Lamar Jackson

He has turned in to mediocre QB despite a good OL,TE and defense. His WR's? Doesn't really use them. Too bad the Ravens didn't give him 200 million dollars.

7-5 as a starter. 64.4% 16 TD's 13 Int's. Not even 3,000 yard thrown. An alarming 38 sacks taken in 12 games. I think the NFL has figured his game out. I know the Steelers have. He couldn't exploit our poor pass defense.

    Over rated.

" If the Ravens cannot reach a long-term deal with Jackson, they could place the franchise tag on him in 2023, which will pay him $43.5 million per season. A second tag would require the team to give him a 120% raise, which would reportedly boost his salary to $52.2 million. That equates to $118.7M over three year "

The Steelers had a great draft in 2023. However better play calling / coaching is badly needed. Tomlin is 19-18-1 in last 38 games played and hasn't won a playoff game in six years and counting. Nor has hired anyone good to his coaching staff. Think about that. But Khan and Weidl appear to have better management on the salary cap and focused on the right free agents and draft needs.

They will limit him to game manager mode this season, where I think he does his best work. They loaded up their D, and will get at least one or two of their starting RBs back. Expect a move towards a renewed ground attack.

At 43.5 million on the cap that some expensive " game manager ". I agree with what your wrote. With his playing style he going to tear or injure something.

    Baltimore Ravens

    Over/under: 9.5

Prediction: Baltimore will hit the over as long as Lamar Jackson remains healthy, which was a major issue last year. Since Jackson took over as the starter midway through the 2018 season, his winning percentage (.755, 37-12 record) ranks only behind that of Patrick Mahomes. Without Jackson, Baltimore is 2-5 (.286) over the past three seasons. -- Jamison Hensley

You hit it on the head. They'll limit him to cut down on those mistakes. But the defense can't protect him forever. As we've seen over and over again in the playoffs. He'll keep faceplanting in the playoffs because he can't really pass. And at some point, your defense can't win it and he'll be forced to throw to win a game.

From the 2010-2022 season,(A 13 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Currently, Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in 6 years.

Steeler fans still loving on Tomlin now, are the same as Dolphin fans in the 90's who were still loving on Shula for what he did in the 70's

Where would the Colts, Roger Goodell and the NFL be without Brenna Webb and her Public Relations skill set? https://marxcommunications.com/nfl-pr/

    he’s talking last year.

but anyone who follows football knows the amount of injuries the Ravens had makes it impossible to predict this year.
