Minshew? C’mon people.. we can do better than a backup QB.

That dude isn’t a starter for a reason. I think he is getting the benefit just because we haven’t seen him play meaningful football for a while.

He beat the Jets and then played a meaningless game against the Cowboys the last week of the season.

Why is anyone saying his name?
Tomlinís coming back so what can you do?

I have a feeling there is going to be a big turnover in QBs this year...
    Wilson?
    Rogers?
    Love?
Wentz? ( he might get released, cap savings)
Jimmy G ( he might get released, no one is going to trade for him)
Tanahill (the dude is getting old, they might move on)
Goeff ( cap saving in 23)
    Winston?
Hurts/Minshew (Philly has three #1, would they take a risk and look to upgrade at QB either in draft or by trade?)
Lock ( if they upgrade at QB)
    Bridgewater
Jones ( if they upgrade at QB- I have a feeling Trubesky is going to follow his OC, nw coach of NYG)
    Watson?

and I am sure there are another 5 FA QBs not even mentioned

There is also needy teams like NO, TB, Washington
After Wilson and Rodgers (which I give a 0.01% chance happening), I would take a chance on Markus Mariota ahead of everyone else on your list.

You're not seriously comparing Minshew to Burrow, are you?

    1. Get a QB that can throw 10-15 yards down the middle to take pressure off the OLine and running game. Make sure heís mobile in the pocket so he can hold the ball more than 2 seconds.

    2. Build an elite D. We need DL, LBs, S, and CB. Get the best play maker you can at whatever position.

    3. Fill in where you can on the OL and WRs.

Bottom line, we can upgrade almost all but 5-10 spots. Some of those I. Spots 6-10 need to develop and you could convince me they need to be replaced.

But with the right QB and the right adds on D, I think we can be more competitive next season than we were this season.

The only thing missing is the 4th Q QB magic which probably won us 7 or 8 games which is a big nut to cover. I just believe we can be more sound and keep more games close and not need the 4th Q magic to produce.

I'd actually be in favor of bring Minshew in for a reasonable price versus busting the bank for a big name QB. Bring him in to compete with MR

I am clearly pointing out why he should be an option. He's a year younger than Rudolph he's actually not even a year older than Burrow (they are both 25 right now), would likely cost very little to acquire and is the kind of QB Rooney was describing not too long ago (can move in the pocket, is mobile). I'm just not seeing a lot of good options at QB this year for the Steelers, this one would be safe and cost very little.

LolÖ thank god our front office doesnít listen to our Ďfansí.
    Update:
    In the last decade:
25% of the league has won a super bowl. The steelers are not one of them.
18 teams have as many or more playoff wins as the steelers.
25 teams have won at least one playoff game, none have a worse playoff win percentage than the steelers.
