Blaming others (DL) for Bush's failings is so myopic. Moats says it right. The dude is giving so little effort in disengaging blocks it's embarrassing. Easily blocked by one of the worst blocking TEs (Jared Cook) in the game.

The "human" element of his injury is real. Will Bush be able to overcome the psychological and physical impacts of his injury as his career progresses?
The Steelers seem to have the wait and see approach considering the investment. Fans can simply discard players in their minds. Organizations like the Steelers can't.
From the 2010-2021 season, (A 12year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Currently, Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in 5 years.
Dolphin fans in the 90’s held on to Don Shula for too long for what he did in the playoffs in the 70’s...
Are the same as Steeler fans (of 2021 ) holding on to Tomlin for too long for what he did in 2008, with Cowher's players & coaches.
I think the coaches are tiring of the human element from Bush. It is rare for them to call out a player publicly. I wouldn't be surprised if Butler got the ok from Tomlin to say what he did in the presser. You can only be so patient with a guy. Keep in mind you are wasting valuable play of others on defense that is basically getting wiped out by Bush. It's like they are playing with 10 guys on the field and that's not fair to them.
It's been a long time since I've seen such a chorus against a Steeler player like this;

He is rightfully being called out on it, by Moats and others, but Moats is particularly impactful coming from a former player known for giving it all (while not being the most physically talented). Moats is on the $: Bush can't hide when it comes to watching tape and Bush ain't giving effort. Playing D is 70% (or higher) about giving effort, and Bush ain't doing it, so that translates into him being a liability on the field. He should be past his knee injury by now, or, at least, more past it than he is showing. What a miss he will end up being if this is what he will remain going forward; not only a 1st round pick, but one they moved up for. As of now he is a liability in pass coverage and tackling ball carriers. Basically worthless out there.
I wonder if bush will decide to play hard during his contract year?
Update:
In the last decade:
25% of the league has won a super bowl. The steelers are not one of them.
18 teams have as many or more playoff wins as the steelers.
25 teams have won at least one playoff game, none have a worse playoff win percentage than the steelers.
it almost looks like this clown is trying to play himself out of Pittsburgh on purpose
the level of effort he is putting forth is beyond pathetic
