By THAT standard, Harbaugh is the biggest offender in the conference.
And the question in the AFC for the vast majority of Tomlin and Ben's career isn't "who's the favorite in the AFC?" it's "who's got the best chance to upset the Pats". Because the Pats with brady were the favorite basically every year.

A few of us could see what really needed to be done several seasons ago. Now this what we are left with.
Those same fans that praised every draft pick to be bpa and player acquisition, are pretending they didn’t say those things and are now blaming Ben.
Yep. Not addressing the O-line earlier and letting an entire O-line get old and depressed falls squarely at Colbert’s feet.

And staying with Ben one year too long lays at the feet of Rooney Jr.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t go after Garoppolo in the off-season. Since all we do is look through other teams garbage for QB’s.

    Exactly.
And our talent was better than the pats, our coaching wasn’t.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

    Tomlins fault….
Obviously Tomlin felt our oline was great because he didn’t confront Colbert on improving it.

You mean those same talking heads that say Tomlin is a great HC?

Well, I can't say it's Tomlin's fault. Let me tell you why:

Tomlin has been a yes man since he's been the coach. He's not a coach who can hire or fire assistant coaches. Colbert and Rooney do that. Tomlin hasn't ever been a REAL head coach per say like Parcells, Walsh, Gibbs, Lombardi or Noll. Colbert /Rooney make those calls and Tomlin nods his head.

So the hire of Canada and the approach and failure of how to rebuild the O-line lays at Colbert & Rooney's feet.

Steelers were routinely one of the favorites though outside the Pats. But the Steelers usually lost to an inferior team before ever facing the Pats. The one year the Steelers did play the Pats in the playoffs (AFC Championship) the game was over before it even started due to coaching, game wasn't even close.

Tomlin can't even outcoach Stafanski of the Browns. and the Browns had a make shift offensive line with Stafanski at home because of sickness. Stafanski beat Tomlin while sitting on his coach at home.

man, you're really reaching on this one.

but I suppose when you have to fit it into your agenda you'll say anything, no matter how ridiculous.
