Two WRs within a yard of each other .... Tell me, is it scheme or WR fail?

The Canada offense was the Pitt offense a little before before Mark Whipple.
I think I'll believe my lying eyes before I believe "scout.com..." Pickett DID hit Friermuth in stride... he DIDN'T checkdown a lot, and he DIDN'T have happy feet...

I don't know but the two receivers are 20 yards downfield and the pocket is still pretty clean. If he waits another second or two, if the top receiver keeps deep and the underneath cuts across the middle there could be a big play there. Instead he is already dumping it off to the back, while the defender can see this and is already running at him.

uh, you do realize Pickett's entire professional game experience consists of 36 pass attempts... just barely a single game.

1 out of 9 third down conversions against the Browns, not going to win too often like that.

Hate seeing Trubisky taking such a beating for lack of execution by his supporting staff.. and the incompetence of the OC. Sure, he could play better.. but he played well enough to win this game.
Why isnt anyone calling out Chuks for that terrible penalty that negated the long Jalen Warren run?
I think the overall frustration is misguided

Who knows, but it's Pickens and Gunner, two brand new Steelers, one brand new NFL player. Haley described the WRs routes as "sloppy" the other day on the fan.

Right, we need 100% perfection from everyone else so Mitch's 14.7 PPG holds up for wins. That's the ticket.

Go watch good offensive teams play an entire game and you'll see drops, mistakes, penalties, missed blocks, etc., but they still overcome it because they have great QB play. Tua threw 2 picks the other day, which would have gotten him benched here, and then followed up with 6 TDs.

Same with any rookie who has ever started.
