Kendrick Green scored a 9.23 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 90 out of 1152 OG from 1987 to 2021

This is a guy I didn’t have on my radar at this point, but as I go back and watch him, I like the pick.

I see the potential here and like this guy’s demeanor. This is the kind of player I was hoping for.

Impressive. The more I read about this kid, the more convinced I am we got a heck of a steal here.

I like it. We got a potential steal with Dotson last year in the 4th.. if we get the same with Green.. things are looking up!

I do think that there's more uncertainty in evals this year with less data going in.

Let's how they got this one right.

Profiles of this guy make him sound like he's not a day 1 starter (although his competition from what we have is low).

    That's good.

Seems like lots of high RAS Cs this year.

The Depot compiled some profiles here https://steelersdepot.com/2021/04/ne...d-finish-guys/

Not that flattering, but I think this is a great where these will be more wrong than usual

This is an above average pick because it addresses a need, HOWEVER better OL players were on the board. Reports says Green has issues with pass rushers and short arms. A little short in height, but a fire plug type. This will be our new starter. Major upgrade over what we have as a run blocker. Played just 4 games in college at center.

There were 2-3 OL players on the board, including Quinn Meinerz.

Plan to spend 75 million in cap space in 2022 ( most in the NFL ) and use the 2 comp picks ( 3rd and 5th ) for a killer 2022 draft. We will be back hopefully with better coaching.

Sounds kind of like Meinerz in terms of being a project at C.

    Made your link click able.

Hope he can start over AQ and Haus.

Listened to Adrian Klemm's press conference after the selection. Said he watched two years of every game Green played and had nothing but positives to say. I think this will be a good pick
Taking pride in the fact that I'm right so often and he is wrong so often, that Steel Maniac has to have me on "Ignore"

That's what the NFL thinks based on where he was picked. I say his team didn't play football last year and that hurt him. But at the senior bowl this center was a powerhouse blocker vs. the best out there. He tore up his pro day showing elite level speed, and leaping ability for a man his size. Also benched pressed the gym. Loves to play the game. Like I said pro bowl tools. Big, long arms big hands, fast, strong. etc...

The Center we took is short with short arms ( Maybe a little light too ) and has pass blocking issues. Who was talking about him?
