I'd take that deal. Ertz still can provide solid play

ertz is scheduled to make 8 million next year so we wouldnt any cap space.

Nobody else has the cap room right now, so those four teams are all I could think of. Some teams could make room if they wanted, but it's hard to tell who will.
    Thanks dude,

I just it happens soon, before the draft.

Miami and Jax (33 +45) both have 2 second rounders. ( possible use Nelson to trade up in the 2nd?) Take Williams, RB, with pick 33 or 36 or 45? Use our 1st rounder on OT, ILB, DB, or C?

NYJ& LAC & Det has two 3rd rounders.

Too funny I miss read it, thought Jax and Miami! ( kept them though since that would be note worthy option to trade up.

The Steelers should honor all contracts and never cut or release players?
A player's contract already provides for the possibility of being released before the end. The signing bonus or guaranteed money is the offset for that.

Ertz has rarely played a full season. Nelson has been an iron man.

and? Asking for more money or an extension is also a possibility during the last year of a players contract. Teams are aware of this as well.
Tomlinís coming back so what can you do?

Wow. If true, it seems the Steelers just really wanted to dump him. Why?

And if there was no good reason, you have to wonder, "What if ...?" What if they'd asked, and he'd agreed to come back for significantly less $$?

    This is a head scratcher.
From the 2010-2020 season, (A 10 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks.

Dolphin fans in the 90ís who wanted to hold on to Don Shula for what he did in the playoffs in the 70ís...
Are the same as Steeler fans (of 2020 ) holding on to Tomlin for what he did in 2008, with Cowher's players & coaches
