    This.

Not sure how many guys get benched for UDFA scrubs and then go on to be franchise QBs. But I'd guess that the number is pretty close to 0.

Exactly. There's a similar atmosphere with the Jets. That's why I think Darnold too will be okay in Carolina. I haven't written Haskins off either. Let's hope.
From the 2010-2020 season, (A 10 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks.

Dolphin fans in the 90ís who wanted to hold on to Don Shula for what he did in the playoffs in the 70ís...
Are the same as Steeler fans (of 2020 ) holding on to Tomlin for what he did in 2008, with Cowher's players & coaches

Too early to tell one way or another on Haskins. I hope he pans out but we didn't risk much. I am still in MR's corner, to tell the truth.

    that's a good point.

I think Mason will be a serviceable backup QB in the NFL, but I just can't see him ever being a successful starter.
    Planet Steelers 2021 Mock Draft:

    1.24 Najee Harris RB Alabama
    2.55 Walker Little OT Stanford

Yes, I would love to see what MR can do with a real OC and a O-line and skill players.

In all honesty I have seen more prolific high school offenses that that of Randy Fitchner's train wreck. 3 yard passes. BWHahahaha

Not an RF fan by any stretch but he did break out of his mold in the last game of the season for a taste of what could be with a QB that could throw downfield.

This is like a scouting report for Terry Bradshaw...who struggled early.

You don't think we went to Duck because Mason lost the job?

Great point, I’m glad we didn’t give up on TB after a season or 2.
