    Hard pass on Trask

Look at his weaknesses, no thanks. A modern day Frankengraham: heavy feet, no feel for the game. No way.

If Ben's still on the team any rookie QB is a waste IMO.

We should do everything we can to maximize the first 4 years of our next QBs career.

Feet look heavy at times, they get more stationary as he settles into his drop… Overall pocket presence needs work… Improvisation skills are limited… Deep ball strength and accuracy isn’t there… Can be late on throws especially when he’s indecisive or when pressure is closing in… Ball security is an issue especially when on the move… Throwing while on the run needs work… Lack of mobility is something he gets away with at times in college but that won’t happen in the NFL… Have to wonder how much of his success was on him or his receivers?
No thanks. I hope they don't get fooled into thinking because this kid is the same size as Ben that he will become Ben. He's not going to.

I am all for taking chances at the quarterback position as long as that quarterback has immense upside. Unfortunately, I just don’t see it with Kyle Trask. He’s probably going to be better than Mason Rudolph, but he’s the same type of quarterback, and that really worries me.
Bingo. They better not stretch and reach for this guy.

I'm not opposed to letting a guy come in, sit and learn and not get his brains bashed in due to slow reads and mediocre o-line

If Ben stays another year, I don’t think the possibility of them going QB in the first round happens. So we sit and see what type of agreement Ben and the front office comes to. That’s the first domino that has to drop.

    Me neither.

That's why I think we should build a team first and not rush to add a QB.

That's why I don't like adding a bunch of dead money on a team that won't be as good as it was last year.
