    Robert Spillane

    Damn.

He looked good and was flashing all over last week, and made some huge hits

Obviously we now know that is not a fluke. That hit on Henry was a classic Steeler's LB hit.

And to be given the communication for the defense says a lot too

Arthur Moats has a youtube analysis channel and broke down his awareness and instincts over the past week. He is legit.

Spillane and Bush are going to be real nice playing together in the middle for the next however many years they can keep them together after Vince's time is up here

He did look good. Hope his body can hold up with all those hard hits he brings.

I key'd on him a lot. Probably 10 plays - 9 out of the 10 were above average to great.
One play he jumped the wrong hole (it appeared)....of course it's not like the old days where you don't get a replay on every play!

Big time stone job on Henry! Noticed he came out holding his shoulder after the hit. Any news on that and who replaced him??

On that play, I stood up and yelled with excitement! That was Steeler linebacker play at it's finest. Spillane has instantly become a guy we cheer for. Love him.
From the 2010-2019 season, (A 9 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks.

Dolphin fans in the 90ís who wanted to hold on to Don Shula for what he did in the playoffs in the 70ís...
Are the same as Steeler fans (of 2020 ) holding on to Tomlin for what he did in 2008, with Cowher's players & coaches
