Or if it's something about his throwing motion?

Seems like he's had a lot of balls batted at the LoS this year.

Roethlisberger is getting the ball out quick and defenses know their best chance is a bat because they probably won't get the sack, especially TEN who doesn't have a very good pass rush. Plus with these shorter passes the trajectory is totally different than long throws.

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahah.
From the 2010-2019 season, (A 9 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks.

Dolphin fans in the 90ís who wanted to hold on to Don Shula for what he did in the playoffs in the 70ís...
Are the same as Steeler fans (of 2020 ) holding on to Tomlin for what he did in 2008, with Cowher's players & coaches

We three a ton of short passes 2 years ago too.

Maybe it's just chance, but I don't remember as many batted balls.

Hahahaha. It's Ratbird week! All hands on deck for this one. Back up the ambulance at the stadium exit too. They'll be bodies leaving in this one.

Fellas? What's the status on Spillane? Is he okay? We need to send a limousine for him to make sure he's in the Raven's game. Anyone that hard hitting I've got to have him in this game.

One thing I saw on the rewatch was Dupree sometimes set in the middle behind the DL and making rushes to stop the run. While he didn't have much splash, he redirected Henry in the backfield which was key to others swarming in for the tackle. Honestly, Butler did a nice job with play calls and rotating guys in to keep them fresh.
