    Conners future might well be as a capable backup 3rd down type. Ironically, it is the one scenario I would not mind keeping him. If he doesn't get the starting job back he will have very little leverage and be dirt cheap.

    He is also very good in pass protection. That alone is worth it.

    Looked like a better runner.

    The fumble was a bit scary, but JuJu somehow ended up with that one (I thought for sure it NYG ball).

    I picked him up late in both my drafts because I figured that JC would eventually get hurt and we don't usually split carries.

    But wait, Conner lifted all those weights in the offseason....(who cares). So much for Colbert claiming JC is not injury prone. It took about 5 minutes before he was hurt again.

    He certainly didn't look great when he had the ball in game 1.

    And it kind of looked like we were forcing him to be involved.
