    ok, got it.
so wait , you weren't gloating on the stats he gave you in week 1, to bash the steeler fan who thinks he won't have a good year?

gloating on how well the steeler's main rival QB played in the opening week of the season?

    please....

Steel Maniac has been saying that Lamar Jackson wasn't going to be good ever since he was drafted.

I'm merely pointing out that his assertion is completely wrong, just like every other prediction he has ever made.

to deny that LJ is pretty good after being the NFL MVP last season is pretty ridiculous imo.

Lamar Jackson is 2020’s first AFC offensive player of the week

Posted by Josh Alper on September 16, 2020

The 2019 NFL MVP got his 2020 season off to a rousing start.

Lamar Jackson was 20-of-25 for 275 yards and three touchdowns and he ran seven times for 45 yards as the Ravens routed the Browns 38-6 to open the season with a victory. One week won’t be enough for him to repeat as the league’s most valuable player, but it was enough to get him his first prize of this year.

Jackson was named the AFC’s offensive player of the week on Wednesday. Jackson took those honors five times during the 2019 season, including his Week One outing against the Dolphins, so his year is off to a familiar start.

Jackson will be in Houston this weekend in an attempt to get the Ravens another win while continuing to build his award resume.

This is why I'm so excited.

Ben had a higher YPC than Lamar. Dude is in his best shape EVER.

Just think, just as the Steelers are saying goodbye to Roethlisberger in 2022, Jackson's contract will be up and BAL will have the joy of keeping their cap in control. If he makes OPOTY again he might command even more than Mahommes.

BAL CB Tavon Young season ending knee injury, 4 season ending injuries in 5 yrs...talk about bad breaks.

BAL is piling up rushing yds; 230 yds on the day. Steelers defense is gonna have to get a whole lot better (or the offense is going to need to play keep-away).

It's early, let's see how things change.

btw, watched a bunch of games this weekend and I gotta say the offenses seem to be way ahead of the defenses in the NFL right now. Total scoring seems like it is way up vs normal years.

I agree. Except ours. Our offense is understandably unpolished at this point but it also seems to me like it lacks creativity. It's predictable.

that's Fichtner for you... look I get that they are still working the young guys in and Roethlisberger is still rusty but wondering where all the excitement Canada was adding to this O.

Gloating? I think it’s more so providing evidence that “wishing/hoping” a player will go away is silly.
Tomlin’s coming back so what can you do?
