      Bust is ludicrous. Kyle Boller was a bust. JP Losman was a bust. LJ... not a bust.
      All true. But there's no way I'd give LJ a contract that sets a new bar for QB compensation. I hope the Rats do it though.

          So the hope is that LJ can develop into the type of offensive weapon that is hard to defense and can deliver when the team needs. It can take time and several years to develop and build a team around a player like LJ.

          I agree he isn't the 1st QB that I would draft but very few QBs are on the list ahead of LJ.

          Talented QBs and players generally fail in the NFL because they can't execute what's taught by coaches in the class room and fail to execute the plan game day. Talented players can succeed on game day but eventually............

          It's difficult to win in the NFL.

            Gone somewhat unnoticed was Watson's rather horrid outing against Denver. There's a thick layer of rust to break through there.

              Not great news for the rest of the AFCN. Joe Burrow set to break the NFL completion % record set by Brees;

              Joe Burrow Set To Become All-Time Leader In Completion Percentage
              DEC 29, 2022 8:43 AM

              Joe Burrow will put his name in the NFL record books on Monday night.

              Burrow will become the league's career leader in completion percentage as soon as he has enough career pass attempts to qualify.

              To qualify for the career completion percentage record a player needs to have thrown 1,500 passes. Currently, the NFL's all-time leader in completion percentage is Drew Brees, with 67.69 percent.

              Burrow's career percentage is 68.48 percent and he's thrown 1,488 passes.

                  Yeah… we have to endure him another decade. He’s not going anywhere.

                    Huntley single-handedly gave the game away to the Bengals tonight.

                      Somewhere, Rudolph is cheering (warning, headline is deceiving);

                      Cleveland Browns face newest major problem
                      Story by DJ Byrnes • Yesterday 1:10 PM

                      The Cleveland Browns are one of the most woebegone franchises in sports.

                      Browns All-NFL defensive end Myles Garrett was a bright spot in the team’s 7-10 season, which earned the franchise another last-place finish in the AFC North.

                      “Browns star DE Myles Garrett is believed to have suffered a dislocated toe while competing in today’s Pro Bowl Games, per source. X-rays came back negative. Garrett limped off the field in Las Vegas,” Tom Pelissero reported.

                      Fans were quick to blame the NFL’s new Pro Bowl format for the injury.

                      Pro Football Talk, while reporting on the injury, noted that Given that while, “the season doesn’t start for seven months, there wouldn’t appear to be any reason for long-term concerns about Garrett. But his injury is a reminder that any time athletes are on a field running around, whether in a tackle football game, a flag football game or one of the other Pro Bowl festivities, injuries are possible.”

                      Garrett started his football career at James Martin High School in Arlington, Texas, where he developed into a five-star prospect. Garrett played collegiately with the Texas A&M Aggies, where he earned unanimous All-American honors. The Browns selected him with the first overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft.

                        He has the whole off-season to heal up.

                              Vonn Bell to the Bengals. That is a good get for them, unfortunately.
