Yep!!...When Art figures out that Tomlin won’t be winning anymore championships and he moves him on, then you know we’ve officially on a championship path again. Until then, we wait patiently.
From the 2010-2019 season, (A 9 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks.

Dolphin fans in the 90ís who wanted to hold on to Don Shula for what he did in the playoffs in the 70ís...
Are the same as Steeler fans (of 2020 ) holding on to Tomlin for what he did in 2008, with Cowher's players & coaches

    Better have lots of it.
Rooney continues to state his happiness with almost making the playoffs.
In the last decade, 25% of the league has won a super bowl(the Steelers aren't one of them) and 25% have as many or more playoff wins as the Steelers.

That’s fine; if that’s what he’s satisfied with. Eventually his standards of winning a championship will rise back to mine and he’ll let Tomlin move on.

the Chiefs had to wait 50 years and the 49ers 25 since they won a Super Bowl, but yeah because we're the Steelers and privileged we should be in it all the time.

Bill Cowher would never have had the opportunity to win the Super Bowl with the two besties running the show...

and some people will use these 2 teams as examples of what to do to make a SB. Not the losing and rebuilding.. just the winning. LOL.

SF was in a SB a few years back with Kapernick. They haven’t won one in 25 years.

I still say that the cheaters have skewed expectations. Yes, we had the 4 rings in the 70's and 2 in the 2000's plus another visit in 2010, so we have high expectations. But with the cheaters being at the show an absolute insane number of times in the 2000's, it gives the impression that we're failing.

never mind the rebuild, the progression to a championship game a few years ago.

They want 3 SB appearances in a 10 year span or its all failure.

Seems to me we should be making one final push for a SB as it's Ben's final 2 years most likely. We aren't rebuilding, yet.

But as Rooney has stated.... Rebuilding or not, HOF QB or not, a .500 record and choking in the playoffs is the bar and we will not live in our fears in doing just that.
Tomlin: Let's unleash hell and "mop the floor" with the competition.

yup, with 32 teams in the NFL it's certainly mathematically logical to expect to be in the Super Bowl 3 times every 10 year period.

if only Art Rooney's standards of winning a championship would rise back to as high as Steel Moron's are I'm sure we could win the Super Bowl every year.
