Just a low class organization, with even lower class fans. And what can happen to them? A fine? Big deal. Maybe lose a draft pick? Big deal (as it's always the end of the first round anyway).

I'd love for the hammer to really be laid down on them. Similar to college, make them playoff ineligible for 5 years.

Take the Lombardi that Gronk donked and melt it into the shape of a spy camera. Sit that in the trophy case.

I am so tired of the national media's claim of "they don't have to cheat to beat the Bengals" (Scott Van Pelt was the first to plant his flag on this argument).
Cleptomaniac's don't steal because they necessarily need the goods. It's just what they do. Same goes for cheaters.

Not sure they have to archive them. Ernie Adams watches the video, collects the information he needs, and from it puts together his spreadsheets and charts. There may well be no collection of videos in *'s HQ these days, but you can be sure that Ernie has put to use what they revealed, and has it ready to radio down to the people on the *'s sideline who can then relay in the calls. It's a sophisticated operation that's been going on for years, and the league has been turning a blind eye. Hopefully, this time, enough media people will speak up so as to ignite public opinion, and stir up some pressure from advertisers. Otherwise, the cheating will keep going on.

Would teams trade one season of playoffs and 2 years of 1st round picks for a Lombardi? Absolutely.

The NFL has to make an example of them. They have to have some REAL consequences to their cheating.

Curious to see what MLB does with the Astros. And what the NFL does with the Pats.

Teams need to be shown that cheating is not worth the punishment handed down.

Not that I really expect that to happen.

The one thing we know is that the Pats are willing to do whatever it takes to get the trophy. Anything. The only punishment that takes away their incentive to cheat is to stay a Lombardi or two. Go back in time and declare no winner for those years. But it will never happen. NEVER.

New coach, new signals, new tendencies, new everything. Remember when the Patriots had an entire library of teams sidelines? All they have now is Marvin Lewis. Now they need to build their library on the new coach. Could they still beat the Bengals without it? Of course. So the information they get now might not be for this game but for future games. This is a sleazy ass organization and they need to have the hammer dropped on them but the NFL will sweep this tape and the hundreds of others from 2007 and act like it's no big deal. For the NFL to do something to the Patriots means they are admitting fault and that is damaging to the NFL. This needs to be taken out of the hands of the NFL and dropped into the hands of an unbiased investigation team that has nothing to gain or lose by admitting the Patriots cheated.
