Ya 14 games 2 seasons ago in which he had 32 carries im not exactly giving him credit for that, and he still got hurt.

...and 8 games this year. His yards per attempt have been 4.5, 4.5 and 3.8 this year. Not exactly trending upward in either case.

IMO we need to bring in someone who can legitimately challenge Conner for #1 and then lessen his workload.

Exactly why you dont invest heavily in ONE player at the position
I wish people would/could leave politics out of a Steelers Football Forum.

One negative from the game... Pouncey kept his streak intact with some continued lousy snaps. This time, instead of skyballs, he snapped low balls. Pouncey has been a warrior but I am wondering if his time is coming to an end. He is not helping the young QB with snaps all over the place.

But he does a great job of getting more lottery tickets. Which means he ends up getting more than enough good cheap players.

read that 1st sentence you again.

if he's like every other GM then he isn't one of the best, right?

you stated he's a just as good of a GM then he is as coach which is ridiculous.
he's a top 5 coach of all time

What makes him a great GM is that he's good at the controllable things (cap management and acquiring picks).

I don't think drafting great players is a repeatable skill. It's like picking individual stocks. Lots of luck. Better to get more lottery tickets than to think you're good at picking the numbers.

Why is no one talking about the bonehead fake punt call by Tomlin. He admitted to it in the press con after the game. This could have cost us the game and did make it closer than it should have been.

It has been discussed a lot in the game thread.

It’s been discussed. Would you like to start another thread to keep it going all week?
