Rudolph was the only one that showed any signs to be the heir to Ben.

Honestly, his play has been declining since the concussion.

Why is it always the guy on the bench is the better option?

'cause you reach a point of having seen enough. I'm there with Rudolph. If nothing else, give the guy a break. He's been pounded enough to take a few games of rest.

That, and Duck showed some promise. The season is already lost. Throw him out there and lets see what his energy can do.

Not sure. Maybe. Several reports were that the game against the Rams was one of his better.

Do the WR's get open better for Duck? Does OL block better for Duck? Really doesn't matter who's slinging the rock if we can't run the ball nor block for more than 2 seconds. The OL looked like they were trying to hold back a hurricane with a screen door last night. Doesn't matter who's the QB if they are getting hit constantly.

I don't think the o-line has played bad at all, it's tough to block for Rudolph because he doesn't move laterally, he doesn't climb the pocket, he doesn't feel the rush, and he sits there and holds the ball.

Yup. The ball rarely comes out quick unless it’s a fast ball for 3 yards.

While I also want Duck to get another shot I’m not lying to myself about what I saw bs the Chargers. Duck didn’t really show much either but at least he can move in the pocket.

duck is better at throwing receivers open from what I watched this year in the limited sample size we have to go by

seems like mason really struggles in this area, imo
