No One is Talking About the Best Offseason Move

Nelson has been a near lockdown CB so far. After the first game I was still uncertain even though he did a great job. After blanketing DK Metcalf I was sold... this guy is a player.

I will not be excited nor disappointed in any players until October.
But so far so good....it's like he took Moncriefs' abilities and left DM w/ nothing

Nelson is looking good for sure. If Fitz ends up being a top tier guy... maybe this defense will start keeping us in ballgames. Offense has to do their part and at least sustain some drives to keep the D fresh.

Yup. Probably seen more balls defended last game than all of last year.

Hopefully we keep trending in this direction.

I agree that this has been a great move.

With Fitz on the team too, hopefully our secondary can be a strength of the team for the next few years.

Moncrief has certainly done his part

I think you're confused. Let me explain.

Moncrief just LOOKS like a DB defending passes, batting them down routinely.
He is actually a receiver attempting to catch those passes.

Also, the guy who caught the last pass thrown in his direction was not a receiver but a DB.

Donít worry, I too get confused at who is on offense when he is in the game.

He has knocked down a lot of passes that would normally be complete.

I think Donte should ask to change numbers. I seriously can't even remember a decent player who wore #11. It might be cursed.
